New archaeology titles for 2014
We are delighted to announce we are adding two new American titles to our archaeology portfolio for 2014, the Midcontinental Journal of Archaeology and Plains Anthropologist.
Maney has exciting new developments planned for both titles. The journals will be available online with ten-year back archives and both publications will use Editorial Manager, the online system for article submission and peer-review, enabling contributors, reviewers and the editorial team to track and respond to the progress of articles with greater ease.
The two journals join Maney's list of archaeology journals and takes the total to thirty eight!

Meet our Journal Sales Manager: Paul Curtis
Paul joined Maney in 2009 as Journal Sales Manager and is in control of developing the markets in Asia, Africa and Europe.
A key part of the role is to negotiate with consortia to provide access to our MORE Collections to their members. Paul works with individual institutions on a daily basis. The current subscriptions at the universities are the mainstay of Maney's business, and form the basis from which consortia deals are negotiated.
A major focus for 2013/14 is to continue to increase global awareness and forge deals. For 2013 Maney has negotiated new deals across the globe including India, UK, South Africa, Australia and Canada indicating the breadth of our journals' appeal.
This year, Paul will be attending the Gulf SLA in UAE, ANKOS in Turkey, and the SANLiC workshop in Johannesburg.

Maney Publishing take on a new challenge for charity
A team of 22 staff, led by Shelly Turner our Sales & Marketing Director, are getting together to take part in the Rotary Dragon Boat Challenge at Pugneys Country Park in Wakefield on 13th July.
Our nominated charity is the MND Association. Motor neurone disease (MND) is a progressive disease that attacks the motor neurones, or nerves, in the brain and spinal cord. This means messages gradually stop reaching muscles, which leads to weakness and wasting.
If you would like to visit our sponsorship page, you can find it here.
Your support would be much appreciated!
