Applied Earth Science is devoted to the application of the earth sciences in the exploration, discovery, development and exploitation of mineral resources. The journal's broad range of interest serves an international readership that includes industry exploration and mining geologists, and geoscience researchers, whose common concern is knowledge and use of the Earth's mineral resources. Subject areas include, but are not limited to: - Genetic studies of mineralisation - Descriptions and genetic studies of mineralisation of ore deposits - All forms of exploration technology and methodology applied to mineral deposits - Geological input into the definition of reserves and resources, sampling and - Practical aspects of drilling, sampling, QA/QC and assaying systems/protocols - Rock mass characterisation and application of rock mechanics to mineral - Applied/process mineralogy and geometallurgy |
