For more than three decades, the Journal of Spinal Cord Medicine has reflected the evolution of the field of spinal cord medicine.  From its inception as a newsletter for physicians striving to provide the best of care, JSCM has matured into an international journal that serves professionals from all disciplines—medicine, nursing, therapy, engineering, psychology and social work.

JSCM publishes articles encompassing the field of spinal cord medicine leading to excellence in practice, education, research, policy development, and academic administration. It includes original research, reviews, clinical notes, case reports, technical perspectives, editorials, letters to the editor, commentaries, and abstracts of literature, dealing with the subject of spinal cord impairment.

JSCM publishes final phase of the SCIRehab Project
The third and final phase of the SCIRehab Project was published in the Vol 36.6, Nov 2012 of JSCM. The results provide an in-depth look at practice-based rehabilitation practices that can inform the direction of further research and guide clinicians in selecting interventions for patients with acute SCI.

2011 Journal Citation Reports now released
