A lot has been happening in the last few months - we have acquired 13 new journals from two new publishing partnerships with Left Coast Press, Inc. and Oxbow Books, we are launching a brand new journal - Journal of Community Archaeology & Heritage - for 2014 and we have a new Museum Studies e-journal mini-bundle that institutions can subscribe to at a discount.

NEW for 2014: Journal of Community Archaeology & Heritage...

Maney Publishing is launching a brand new journal in 2014. Journal of Community Archaeology & Heritage is intended for participants, volunteers, practitioners, and academics involved in the many projects and practices broadly defined as ‘community archaeology’. This is intended to include the excavation, management, stewardship or presentation of archaeological and heritage resources.

It will publish 3 issues per year and will be co-edited by Carol McDavid (Community Archaeology Research Institute, Inc, Houston, USA), Adam Gutteridge (University of York, UK) and Suzie Thomas (University of Glasgow, UK).

If you are interested in submitting an article to the journal or wish to discuss the scope, please email a short summary to the editors.

SPECIAL ISSUE: Preserving Archaeological Remains in Situ: Proceedings of the 4th International Conference

This special quadruple issue of Conservation and Management of Archaeological Sites brings together the proceedings of the PARIS4 conference held in Copenhagen, Denmark in 2011 that attracted over 100 participants from 18 countries.

The issue is available to CMAS subscribers as part of their annual subscription and to buy as a standalone book for £55.00/US$88.00.
