PRESS RELEASE

14 December 2011

Maney Publishing acquires the International Journal of Occupational and Environmental Health

Maney Publishing is pleased to announce the purchase of the International Journal of Occupational and Environmental Health from Hamilton Hardy Publishing. Maney will begin publishing this new title from 2012. The journal will continue with existing editor David S Egilman of Brown University, USA.

The International Journal of Occupational and Environmental Health is a quarterly journal that complements Maney’s existing healthcare collection and is tailored towards both academics and health professionals, offering articles that cover disciplines ranging from occupational and environmental health to consumer health. The journal works to promote health within the workplace and the relationship between human health and the environment worldwide. Subjects covered within previous issues include occupational health and safety in China and child labour.

This peer-reviewed title will continue to publish original research, commentary and analysis, which will be offered in print and online via ingentaconnect.com, along with the journal’s entire back archive. From 2012 all content (future and historical) will be covered within CrossRef, collaborative reference-linking service, which enables readers to navigate from an article’s references to the online content of the cited article, making life simpler for researchers.

The journal is also included in Thomson Reuters (ISI) Web of Knowledge within both the Science (SCI) and Social Science Citation Index (SSCI).

Kimberly J. Martin, Executive Publisher at Maney comments: “We are very pleased to add this important title to our healthcare collection and look forward to developing the journal even further.”
