Maney Publishing secures four new licences for archaeology content

Maney Publishing is delighted to announce the signing of four new institutional licences to receive our Archaeology & Heritage MORE E-journal Collection for 2012.

University staff and students at the University of Lund, Sweden and the Universities of Liverpool, Bournemouth and Aberdeen, UK, will be able to access thousands of articles from 22 Archaeology & Heritage journals.

Maney has the largest list of online archaeology journals of any British publisher in the field, a list which is growing with two new titles for 2012, Studies in Conservation and English Heritage Historical Review. The package allows educational institutions, libraries, consultancies and societies to access journal content online in a package highly specific to their subject area.

In a separate deal negotiated by Maney, TU Delft in the Netherlands has just signed up for the Materials Science & Engineering collection, demonstrating the global appeal of Maney’s journal content.

The MORE (Maney Online Research E-Journal) E-journal Collections offer instant online access to over 100 titles. To view the MORE E-journal Collections and journals available from Maney Publishing please visit:  www.ingentaconnect.com/content/maney

Ross Hayworth, Serials & E-Resources Manager at the University of Aberdeen says: “We are delighted that the deal offered through JISC Collections has allowed us to provide this important content to our library users”.

Additionally Emma Crowley, Subject Librarian at Bournemouth University is also very positive about their deal with Maney, she says:  “Our archaeology academics are delighted with the new collection, describing it as ‘a real asset’ which they will encourage their dissertation students to make full use of.”

Paul Curtis, Journal Sales Manager, comments: “Our latest series of agreements display the recognition by libraries and institutions of the quality and value of Maney content. I am delighted to welcome these new customers for MORE.”
