European Federation of Corrosion Series

The European Federation of Corrosion (EFC) is a federation of over 30 societies with interests in corrosion, based in twenty-five different countries within Europe and beyond. Founded in 1955, its aim is to advance the science of the corrosion and protection of materials, by promoting cooperation in Europe and collaboration internationally.

The EFC publications series, published for the EFC by Maney Publishing on behalf of the Institute of the Materials, Minerals and Mining (IOM3), includes a series of reports and state-of-the-art reviews, as well as conference proceedings, covering a wide range of topics, including microbial effects, reinforcement in concrete, automotive engineering and the oil, gas, petrochemical and nuclear industries.
